Agtawon Hill
The Agtawagon Hill is Balete's pride. It is located at the southeastern part of Morales, about 7 kilometers. Away from the heart of the town. During the Philippine Revolution, the hill was the last line of defense of the Filipino patriots during the Spanish-Filipino conflict. The same hill had served as Camp of the Filipino soldiers and guerrillas during the Second World War. Foxholes had been built on the summit of the hill seeing the approaching enemies.
This tourist spot is found in Barangay Morales
