Upaw Hills

This unfamous hills is situated just above Hacienda Maria. Here, you can meditate or relax and feel the tranquility of the hill together with your friends, family or you alone. Don’t forget to bring your food and water especially your camera.

Getting in this dramatic place is seriously tiring, it takes 3-4 hours to be here.When rainy season the mountain seems touching the sky because of its foggy surroundings but when the weather is sunny you can see everything down the hill clearly. I’ll recommend you to visit Upaw hill to get a clearer view.

The hill is surrounded by ferns and other plants including this wierd plant pitsil-pitsil. Pitsil-pitsil or Nepenthes alata is a tropical pitcher plant endemic in the Philippines. Like all pitcher plants, it is carnivorous and uses its nectar to attract insects that down in the pitcher and are digested by the plant. Aside from the exotic plant, when you reached the hill you will witness the beauty of the sunrise or the sunset. You can relax and even meditate here, so come and be wild at the top of the Upaw hill.
